  1. 專吃禾稼的蟲。比喻禍害、敗類。《詩經·大雅·桑柔》：「降此蟊賊，稼穡卒痒。」《三國演義·第六○回》：「吾主漢朝皇叔，反不能占據州郡；其他皆漢之蟊賊，卻都恃強侵占地土：惟智者不平焉。」也作「蝥賊」。
